All COVID 19 restrictions are as per HSE /GOV guidelines. No need to stop this important training, we have it covered. Requalification can be done in 2 days, evidence required of FAW certificate (please speak to us)
This course is designed for employees who have volunteered to represent their employer or have been nominated by their employer as trained first aiders. No prior first aid knowledge is required.
In addition to the objectives and syllabus below, this course is ideal for anyone looking to improve their understanding of first aid.
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor/assessor during the course, each student will have plenty of hands-on experience to demonstrate their knowledge and practical skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
Whilst the qualification lasts for 3 years it is highly advisable to refresh your skills set on an annual basis. You can do this with other staff or book a 2/3-hour session once a year with us.
A first aider at work needs to have the underpinning knowledge and skills set that will allow them to deal confidently with any situation.
Participants of this comprehensive three-day course gain a thorough understanding of first aid emergencies, enabling them to respond to these situations with confidence in a prompt, safe, and effective manner. Further, this course will cover any protocol changes that may have occurred since their last training session
To ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or ill at work, employers are required to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities, and personnel under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

The maximum of 12 students can be accommodated, however this is dependent on the site and
classroom.
Minimum age for this course is 14 years old (please speak to us if learners are under this age)
During COVID the maximum number of students is 8, again this is dependent on site and classroom.
An assessment will be conducted prior to going firm on numbers.
